I have searched so many names and lines over the past 5 years it is hard to keep all straight. My g-g grandfather was Denis Devoy who was married to Mary or Marie McEvoy. Denis came to US by way of Quebec about 1822. I can put the McEvoys and Denis together in central NY. I know they had at least 13 children, 1st odf which was early as late 1820s. I also have a hint Denis came from Tullamore, county Offlay, Ireland. I know nothing of Mary except she was daughter of Michael McEvoy and had come to Utica NY, from Queens County Ireland, when she was 4. That means she came before Denis.
