I would say this is unbelievable! Michael Finnell is a popular figure on Ancestory.com. Less than a month ago, I was in contact with someone named "Palmernurse1"on Ancestory.com, who also claimed to be a Michael Finnell descendant. She too, claimed to be descended from Robert. My G-G Granddad, would be John Finnell (1836-1895b.County Queen, Ireland). He is a son of Michael. Palmernurse1 also claimed Michael Finnell is buried at a cemetary called St Patricks, I forgot the town, in Illinois. Now, you mentioned a picture, yes, please send, so I can have an almost unbroken line of Finnell family ancestors. I will have to see if anyone has an old photo of John Finnell, anythings possible, right? Do you have a copy of the BallyAdams church in Ireland, where the Finnells might have attended? I have one, we could swap. Another Finnell question: Palmernurse1 mentioned that some of the Finnells changed their name spelling and went to Fennell. Is there an old family story here? Lastly, I live in Indiana, Michael's grandson, Thomas H. Finnell, left Illinois and came to Indiana around World War 1 timeframe. Thomas would be might great granddad. My mother would have known him. Thanks for the info, and a picture would be great! Mike Crist Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
