I saw that John H. Deverel was a private in Co. B, Center Hill Guards of the 16th Georgia Volunteer Infantry. I am trying to develop individual soldier sketches of each. Are you a direct descendent of John H? I am interested in finding out more about the family as well as more specifically where in Queen's County (County Laois) the family came from.
