Hello, I am searching for family information on edward and sarah Whalen DOWING born abt 1815, in queens county (Loios county now). they had a son named Patrick edward DOWLING born 4/27/1837 and a son also named Edward DOWLING born abt. 1848 in the parrish of AGHABOE. Their was at least one other child, for whom I do not know his name. I do know that in 1851 patrick and (son- Edward) went to the united states. His mother appeard in an 1880 census in quincy illinois. But other than that I have no information on their father Edward or Sarah "Whalen" DOWLING. The census does spell her name as WHalen and not phalen or phelen. They did spell dowling as dowling and not dolan. Any information or tips would be appreciated and welcomed.
