My gmother is Kate PURCELL from Durrow. I have a copy of her baptism certificate and have verification of her brother's birth info from the British Isles Vital Records Index. I feel satisfied with this information. My brick wall is gfather William Peter CORCORAN whom my mother said was either from Tipperary or "Ballinslee." I have received help from several sources that there is a Ballinalee in CO Longford and also one near Durrow. What I am interested in finding is where Wm. Peter is from as I have had no luck in finding him arriving in the USA. Also have a suspicious naturalization cert. that doesn't make sense time-wise. What sources are there for researching CORCORAN in the Laois/Tipperary area?
