Trying to identify James MOYLES, farmer of Laois. His son, Joseph Henry MOYLES, married Annie Elizabeth STARLING in 1858 in Islington. Joseph and Annie migrated to Canada shortly afterwards, living near Guelph, later in London Ontario. Joseph taught astronomy at various schools in Canada. Later, the family lived in Port Huron, Michigan, finally settling in Battle Creek, Michigan. Family was protestant. There are two groups of MOYLES families in Laois - one near Mountmellick, another in Ballycoolan. Both include persons named James. Jennifer Clark clark1528@aol.com
