I am new to this list and would really appreciate some guidance and direction with my research. I have come to a point in my research where I have found 3 brothers who all say they came from Ballyfin, County Laois. The three brothers ended up living in County Cavan, Ireland or in Yorkshire, England and were Protestants. Unfortunately, I do not know the their parents names so I can only "suspect" they are brothers at this stage. The one thing that makes me think they are brothers is that they all have named one of their sons Hutchinson Chadwick. Sharon Haggerty from this list has indicated previously that the Parish Registers are available for Ballyfin from about 1800 and that the records are accessible in Dublin. As I live in Sydney Australia is anyone able to suggest the best and most economical way for me to research these records? Also where in Dublin would the records be kept?
