Her father was George Neil who married Kathleen O'Neill. Her parents were William and Mary Anne O'Neill who were in the 1911 census as living at Pop Street, Mountmellick. George Neill had a brother Patrick and William O'Neill also had a brother Patrick. This Patrick went to Manchester and I believe he died there, at a good age. The other Patrick (Neill) I remember visiting as a young child. He lived, at that time in some sort of "home" near Mountmellick. He is buried with his brother, George Neill and sister-in-law, Kathleen, nee O'Neill. I know that the Neills lived on Hill 60. George lost both legs in WW1 and Kathleen died in childbirth around 1939. Their children were William,(Willy) Patrick (Paddy) (another one!) George, James (Larkie) Christopher (Christy)and the youngest, my mother, Mary Anne (Mona). So, you see, I know of at least one Patrick O'Neill and three Patrick Neills from Mountmellick. Hope this h! elps. I would like to know more about them myself, also any Buggys (mine lived in St Joseph's Terrace). My father was John (Jack), his siblings Stephen, Christopher, Joseph and Elizabeth (Bessie). Their father was Stephen and mother Anne (Nan, Annie) Stanton. I believe the Stantons had some link to Emo, but furthest I can trace is when the family lived in Dangans. Any information would be much appreciated. Many thanks I Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. The problem with Irish records is you get to the 1860's and records are very few and far between, ages and names change between records, still it keeps us occupied Happy hunting Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Some time ago I was in touch with someone working on Cashins in the Durrow area. This person said because of the proximity of the two towns it was likely my Cashins could have been connected to hers. This was conjecture only. I have very little information on land records in the area. My gggrandmother, for the 1861 British census gave where she was from. It is the only illegible word on the page. It looks similar to Ahenny, but from other information I have on her, she did not know how to spell so it could be something like Aharney. I notice an Aharney parish near Dysartgallen parish. I also know that sometimes a farmer's land crossed the road so his property was in two townlands. I have wondered if someone who is single would return to his home area once he left the Army. Michael became an out-pensioner (had asthma) in 1812 - discharged from Cork - and then headed to Kilmainham Hospital in Dublin. If he was able to get to Dublin, then he could have then headed back to Co. L! eix. Thank you for your previous reply. 1. [LAOIS] A NAME or PLACE
    2. Antoinette Waughtel Sorensen
    3. I have found, received the film and printed off the information I was looking for BUT a word evades my mind - whether it is a place name or what I know not, but it is with regard to a baptismal record of a g-g-uncle born in Ireland. He was baptised per the Stradbally Baptismal records in 1835 but the name or word "looks" like Aughbrayrai_ue - - I realize I am probably way off base but that is what it looks like to me. Can anyone help me "guess" as to what it actually may be. Thank you in advance for any help anyone can give me. Thank you. Antoinette (Tacoma, Washington)

He and Margaret had 2 sons that I know of, one who cme to America, fought in thre Indian war and was killed at Little Big Horn in 1876. This ia all I know of the Cashins. Margaret was a sister of Mary ho married my husbands great grandfather and came to America in 1841. Do you know when your Haslems left Ireland? When were they in Auburn, New York? What part of Indiana were they in? Going back over my info on my Joseph Haslem, he an his family left Ireland around 1853/4. From a profile bio I found on Bridget Haslam`s husband Daniel O`Brien, it states that Bridget an her parents were in Ithaca, New York for five years an then moved to Kendallville, Indiana. They then moved to Greenbush Township, Wisconsin in 1857. I find it interesting that Auburn, N.Y is only lil over 30 miles from Ithaca, N.Y. Yes, any more help you can give me, would be great.
