    3. Hi Chris Wilson's are mentioned in the Church of Ireland Killeshin Church, but it only mentions that there is a Wilson Headstone. The author did not give a description of all the headstones in this graveyard. I think this was due to time and space in the book. He did tell me in a note that he would be working on a second edition, but no date has been given for it's release. He wanted to include the graveyards in both Killeshin and those of Killabban (Arless) in his new book. There is a book called 'Gravestone Inscriptions for Killeshin' (and other graveyards in the Killeshin Parish) by Paul Redmond N.T. It was published in May 1997 by J.P.F. PRINT, Stradbally, Co.Laois. IRL Tel: 00 353 502 25326. As far as I know this book is still available at any good book shop in Carlow Town such as Chapter 2 Bookshop, 96 Tullow Street, Carlow. IRL. Tel: 00 353 503 31674.

    1. Haslam & O'Connor
    2. Hello! I'm pretty new at this, and the only information I really have so far comes from an 1880 era biography of my gggrandfather, Edward Haslam. According to this biography, Edward was born in "Queens Co. in the province of Leinster" on Dec. 8, 1830, & was the son of John and Ann (O'Connor) Haslam. John Haslam died in 1832/33 & the family immigrated to the U.S. in 1847. I've been told that most of the Haslams in the area were Protestant, but my particular line was Catholic. I don't know anything about the O'Connors. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? I'd appreciate any leads. Thanks in advance. Roxanne
