    3. Hi Pat, No, they lived and died in Knockanina, Mountrath. However there is a connection to Sarah Dunn, born about 1822 in Ireland, who married Joseph Gulick and lived in Manhattan. I believe she was a niece of Mary Dunn. I have a letter written in 1867 by Sarah addressed to Mary's daughter addressing her as "My dear cousin Marianne". Best regards, Seamus Moore, Dublin, Ireland. Many of the records are missing. > No, they lived and died in Knockanina, Mountrath. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com

    3. Michael, No data to help your cause but his birth would be in the Civil Registration films held by the LDS/FHC. Will not visit or start my FHC searching until the fall and that is no help to you. Index film: 1900 -1901 = 0101068 They do stock the register films for 1900 - 1901 - depends on the month born http://tinyurl.com/6c6ly4 Bob Cdn =========================== Michael Brennan wrote: > I am trying to find out who Edward Brennan's parents were. > Edward Brennan was born about 1891., somewhere in the parish of Killabban > (Arles). Unfortunately it does not state the name of her first husband although we are almost certain it was Barren/Barron. What we did find out was that Patrick gave his fathers name as John O'Neil and Mary gave hers as James Kenny both of whom are recorded as deceased. All the information we have for this family which is from English census returns says they are from Queens County/Laois. Any help in trying to find out where from would be greatly appreciated. The names are O'Neill/O'Niel, Kenny and Barron/Barren. Thank you, Kabeja. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. There may have been other siblings Brigit, Basil or Katherine? - one sibling died in Belgium with her children in a concentration camp - her husband was in the underground and was caught and killed - confirmed by the Red Cross after the war. My grandfather talked of the family farm they had for several generations and of fishing on the River Leif. When his father Martin died none of his siblings wanted to continue farming.
