Joe, Is the film you're reading from the FHL? I have two films for St. Joseph's RC Mountmelick on permanent loan but can't distinguish how the people are separated. Would it be same parish different townlands? My Corcorans are from Rosenallis, Mountmelick, Skerry & Clonaheen. Thanks Tom, Do you know what year it was. The first child was born in Australia in 1862, so I thought the marriage should have been around 1860/61. we know they arrived in Australia in 1861/62. Hello Marlene, The list of headstones I have from Coolbanagher does not contain any Lewis, but that's not to say they are not there. Most of the headstones are very old and cannot be read and thus you would need a cemetery record. A man named Ronnie Matthews from Portarlington is the expert on Portarlington and surrounding areas and may well have access to the records, so I suggest you contact Ronnie with your request. As for Pattison, Offerlane, I typed just that in to the search engine and it gives a complete record of Pattison in Offerlane. It's not a name I have in my data-base but I will keep a look out.
