Dont know very much really, my great grandmother was a Clarke, Kathleen Clarke, she was an orphan with 3 brothers. She married a man much much older than her from Kings County called Joseph Molloy, he was living in Dublin in 1911 with his 4 children from his first marriage, my G Granmother and himself were together in 1911 but not married and had already had their 1st child, the were registered in 2 different properties in 1911 census and married shortly afterwards. Kathleens brothers were all older than her and called James, Edward & Patrick. If you have any information that coincides with this please can you get in touch as I am stuck at my Great Granmother and can go no further back. Mr. Mathews, You mentioned Fitzpatrick in Laois? I have Fitzpatrick from there. Sarah Anna born abt 1830, emigrated abt 1855. She married Richard Desport/Desper, but I do not know if in Ireland. The parish of Offerlane is quite large, as the terrain there is mostly not suitable for farming and the population was sparse.
