Our family is related to Shelly's in Co. Laois who came to USA who are Wm Shelly of Donaghmore married to Marianne Roper of Mountrath in 1866. Trying to connect them to other Shelly's in Ireland. They had a child, Anastatia born in Cork in 1867. William Shelly's father was supposed to also be named William & buried in cemetery in Skirk but do not know his mother's name... could possibly be Anty Loughman ?? Any info would be appreciated.
