Surnames: DAWSON, HUGHES Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WWC.2ACI/3244 Message Board Post: Seeking info on James DAWSON and Mary HUGHES who married in Kilkenny (I think) about 1835. They had children Michael, Thomas, Ellen and James before leaving for America between 1844 and 1848 (best guess). Need parents, siblings, townland, parish, anything to help locate their ancestors. Michael was a seafaring man, Thomas became a policeman, Ellen married and James died as a child when a wall collapsed on him and some of his little friends. Please help.
