I did find some land records showing both in possession oflands in 1876 . THe Dennefe lands were listed at aprox 10 acres , to a John DeNeefe , The Commons , Knocktopher . I would be greatly interested in sharing any information you may have . If my guess is correct , you may be related to Richard DeNeefe , who from what i have been able to gather was a " cousin" ( since my grandmother is very old , that was the closest account of the connection i could get!)
