I didn't see a name on the church, and seeing Sacred Heart School just down the road, I assumed the church was Sacred Heart. No one in the house adjacent, I assumed to be the rectory. I did find Michael Delany in the cemetery. I think he is the One Who Stayed Behind. Daniel David Delaney is the One Who Went Over, and Richard is the brother that Went Over and Returned. Is this your line? I am seeking to verify the parents of Daniel David Delaney, and his sister Bridget Delaney Flynn. Her tombstone said Muckalee. His said Kilmadum. That's how I came to visit Muckalee & Kilmadum. There was the vine covered corner of a church in a pasture of Muckalee, adjacent to a very overgrown cemetery. Do you know anything about that one? Was that St. Dinnish (St.Denis)? I do hope someone, long ago, recorded those stones. I visited New Ross, and the coffin ship replica the Dunbrody. I went to the Agriculture museum in Wexford to see the potato famine e! xhibit. I went to Cobh to see the famine ship exhibit there. It was heartbreaking. It is a wonder any of us are here. But, best of all I walked the land of my ancestors.
