The Heritage Centre at the Kilkenny Archaeological Society, Rothe House provides an excellent service and they hold many records. We sometimes hear complaints about heritage centres but this one is excellent and reliable. I have used them and very satisfied. They may sound expensive but everything is in Ireland including private researchers.
