Hi John, My maiden name was RICE. My great grandfather John RICE was baptised in Belfast 1828 and married in Capetown 1860. Was in NZ by 1865. Also have Kilkenny connections. John's wife was Mary KEENAN from Kilkenny. Not a common name there.
