Hi Everyone: I think this message disappeared into the current pit of lost mail. Maybe it did get posted, but I did not see it. I'm looking for anyone who has the Kelley-Hines combination from Kilkenny in their ancestry. John Kelley and Anna Hines were married sometime around 1820, I know of only one child so far, Margaret. I'd love to discover where in Kilkenny they lived. Do these names resonnate with anyone here? Thanks from Carol McGann in Florida
Hi Carol, This may or may not be useful to you but from the "Irish Land Owners in 1876" book, for Kilkenny County in that year is: Hynes, Thomas, (home address) America, owned 69 acres, valued at 50 pounds. Maybe you should try this spelling variation in your searches too as there are no "Hines" owners listed. Hope this helps.
