Mixed in with my notes were a Guine family. I cannot be positive of the spelling, but noticed them because they lived near Ballywater, my Thomas Wallace & Margaret Smyth family property outside Callan. For what it's worth, here's what I have: William Guinan m. Mary Mahar. Son Patrick bapt Bapt. at Callan April 1853. Sponsor was Mary Power. Patrick Guinan and Catherine English, dau. Johanna bapt Sept 1870 in Callan Now these 2 were a bit unclear to me so I was guessing on the surname, although they looked like Guine... John Guine(?) and Catherine Butler - They lived in Ballywater, which is where my Laurence Smyth resided. John bapt June 1832 sponsors Thomas Noonan and Margaret Butler; and Johanna bapt May 1829 witnesses were Margaret Walsh and William Buckley.. Let me know if you need anything else. Kate
