My ancestors owned several brick yards in Verplanck and Buchanan. Most were in the Indian and Charles Point areas which around the turn of the century was part of the Hamlet of Verpalnck. In fact if you have traveled Bleakley Ave. leading into Indian Point just befor the light is a lake that was one of the largest clay pits. I do have some old pay records from 1850s to about 1920. I will check to see if any of the surnames you have been researching are on there. Hope I will be able to help, it make take several days as there are volumes of "stuff".
