I did see your Walter Ryan and Mary Cody in BOHERAWARRAGA, Callan. Do you have their sponsors at the baptisms? If not, I have copied them. There were 2 other Walter Ryans, one married Judith Dunne in the late 1846's in Maxtowne, one married Bridget Naughton early 1840's in Tullamaine. In 1840 Walter Ryan was sponsor at baptism of Patrick Ryan, son of Thomas Ryan. It's hard to figure on the children, but there were 2 marriages for Johanna Ryan in all the records. One married Richard Walsh in Mar. 1881 and the other married John Cass in Feb. 1881.Seems a bit late based on your Johanna's b-date, but then it could have been a second marriage. Or a granddaughter. There is also a Honoria Ryan married to a John Neill in 1828, Tullamane. Interestingly there is a Patrick Ryan married to a Margaret Hanly (my Hanleys were not from Kilkenny) and their son was Walter Ryan b. 1841. Maybe that is your Patrick? If so, let me know, and I will see what else I might have.
