I am trying to located anybody that is doing research on the surname of O'Fionnghail. This surname has more than likely been Anglicized over the years to either Fennell or Finel. I am presently trying to locate a great grand father that arrived in the Hampden Co. area of Massachusetts in the very early 1700's. Possibly before 1740. The first known date of him is in 1748, but not of his parents. I have searched the Peter Wilson Coldham books on the Emigrants to the U.S. There aren't any names listed in his book of Finel or O'Fionnghail.
