They lived in Skehana, in the Castlecomer coalmining area. (Skehana had a pop. of 127 in the census.) Jeffrey Brennan, 67, Farmer, lived with wife Mary, 50, and 7 children in cottage #10. John Kavanagh, 48, Farmer, born Co. Carlow, lived with wife Mary and five children in cottage #19. I believe Mary Kavanagh's maiden name was Corcoran. If it sounds good I can dig around some more.
