My grandfather, Edward Kavanagh was born in Skehana in 1875 and lived there till he died in 1942.His parents were John and Mary (Corcoran).My mother Mary Kavanagh was also born in Skehana. Although I have just started my research into my Kavanagh family history, I may have details of interest to you. If you have information that will me with my research I would be very grateful.
