Hi Kaye, "I have a Florence McCarthy who married around 1850 to Margaret Lee/LEahy" That sounds very interesting indeed. Where did this marriage take place? His daughter Mary was born c 1857 in co.Kilkenny. No children were registered 1864 onwards, so I have assumed a marriage in the 1840s (allowing 20+ years of childbirth). But with such an uncommon name, any sighting is worth looking at! Many thanks Cathy
