Hi I am trying to find information on Thomas Walsh and Bridget Hennessy/Henessy. What I have so far is: Thomas Walsh b. ? in Callan, m Bridget Hennessy/Henessy 6 Oct 1837 Callan. I am still working on Thomas death, proving difficult to find. But somewhere in Aus. Bridget Hennessy/Henessy b.? Callan. Parents (mother) Hororah (or something similar). d 1885, Melbourne, Australia Thomas and Bridget had 11 children 8 of whom were born in Kilkenny, 3 born in Melbourne, Australia. Edmund b. 1838, Kilkenny d bef. 1885 Honna b. 1840, Kilkenny Rd Edmond b.1843, Kells, d. bef 1885 Mary b. 1845, Graig, d. bef. 1885 Patrick b. 1847, Chaple L. Thomastown Catherine b. 1848, Thomastown Ellen b. 1850, Ladywell, Thomastown (my ggrandmother) d.1933, Melbourne, Vic. AUS Bridget, b. 1853, Ladywell, Thomastown I'm not sure of the naming customs of those times in Ireland, would I be right in saying that Edmund would have been named after Bridgets father (or would it have been Thomas father). Honna would have been named after Bridgets mother????? If at all possible could someone have a look for a death for Edmund b. 1838.
