Hello Maryann, Have you done any research on the Fanning line? In my grandmother's line I have Eliza Fanning, born Dublin 1849, father James, mother Bridget (unknown places in Ireland), married Patrick James Rush in Australia. The Rush family was from Counties Galway and Clare. Could there by any connection? Hi Ron, What I gave you is all I have unfortunately; I did get the birth records of all the children of mary Fanning and Thomas Maher from the Kilkenny Heritage center but they had nothing further back ( or else I got only one generation depending on how they charge!).
