Hello, I just put this post up on the HOULIHAN list, and realized I should post here as well: I thought I'd post my interests once again, as it has been some time since I did, and I've got more information (yippee!) now. Daniel J. HOLOHAN and Mary LEE are my gggrandparents, and were married at St. Canice on 24 June 1841, witnesses were Denis HOLOHAN and Ansty LEE. Anastatia HOLOHAN, born 14 February 1852, to Daniel J HOLOHAN and Mary LEE, in Kilkenny City, County Kilkenny. (She was my ggrandmother) Other known children are Patrick, born 7 February 1847, sponsors were Thomas FORD and Mary LOUGHMAN Another Anastatia was born 21 January 1844, sponsors were John HOLOHAN and Ansty LEE. Mary was born 13 May 1842, sponsor listed was Michael HOLOHAN only. Johanna was born 24 October 1845 Daniel had a brother Denis, and most likely the above mentioned John and Michael were also brothers. The Ansty/Anastatia LEE mentioned is probably Mary's sister. All of the above mentioned births were at 10 Vicar Street, Kilkenny City, County Kilkenny. The church was St. Canice, where the above information was obtained. I should also mention that my ggrandmother Anastatia HOLOHAN immigrated (1860's) to the US and settled in New York City. She married Peter MCBRIDE of County Meath, who immigrated as a youngster.
