I am primarily searching the Castlecomer area of Co. Kilkenny, but am also searching for any Huguenot or British military history in the county. My LARGE ancestors were Ch or Ire., and might have served in the military in the 1700's. Other Kilkenny names are BOWE and KELLY and KAVANAUGH, all RC. I will be in Co. Kilkenny in May, but will only have a few days to research, so I am trying to organize my research beforehand.
