    3. Deborah: Probably not much help, but I have quite a few Callan records where you're surnames appear. Just sending them in your: "You Never Know file!" Military: the following reg'ts were stations in Callan area during 1805-1885 - only based on Church Records: 57th, 89th Regt; 64th Regt; 75th & 76th Regt. Might have been more... Soldiers from those reg'ts are mentioned in area Church Records: Michael Kavanagh, a Soldier Stationed Callan, married Ally Bergin June 1848 Other soldiers were William Bowe; Daniel Condon, Wm Moyse(?) and Michael McDonnel The local Callan residents, with your names were - (during 1830-80's) BOWES: BOWE Michael ...m.
