Found a story about Patrick Bealan, native of Loon, Castlecomer killed by the British in Dublin in 1920, his body identified by his brother Michael. I then found them on the 1901 census, ages 12 and 9, living peacefully with their parents and siblings in Loon.I don't know the familyinvolved, of course, but it's jarring to find them like that.
