Thank you for that Kate. No doubt you are right in assuming that Ballyhale is in fact Ballyhall. I have, in all probability, incorrectly transcribed some information was sent to me. My connections with Ballyhall are Grant and Anderson. But I suspect there is a connection with the Burke (and possibly Stapleton) inscriptions you have listed. There was a marriage in Australia between John Grant and Mary Anne Burke whose father was Patrick Burke with known strong Irish connections that I have been unable to confirm.
