    2. The Message Boards are about to shut down for Ancestry to "improve" them <shudder>, so I'm replying to the list & copying to the individuals. > Nicholas was from Dublin, County Cork, Skibereen and Mary was > from Waterson, Cork. > information about the couple being married at St. Anne's in Middlesex Hi, Could this be the marriage, ref. Vol.1c, page 896? (See Free BMD.) Mary Driscoll 1852 Oct-Nov-Dec Whitechapel London, Middlesex Jeremiah Dunlea 1852 Oct-Nov-Dec Whitechapel London, Middlesex Nicholas Lumbird 1852 Oct-Nov-Dec Whitechapel London, Middlesex Mary Welsh 1852 Oct-Nov-Dec Whitechapel London, Middlesex Assume that Nicholas had a brogue, and you can easily see "Lumbird." In that case, they ought to be hiding somewhere on the 1861 census. How about in Leigh, Surrey, under the name Lombard? There's Nicholas, age 37 & Mary, 37, both born "County of Cork." And a son James, 5, born somewhere illegible in Surrey, Catherine, 3, and Nicholas, 1. Could be the right family. They seem to have answered whatever came into their heads about their ages . . . Nicholas was 50 in 1871, 55 in 1881. Lastly, I have a geography question. Have you found a Dublin in Co. Cork? I can't find one in the IreAtlas. How about Waterson? I can't find that either, in any county. Peggy

I don't use Outlook. I guess you are saying that you did receive the original Message Board query through the list? > Click on the website address and you'll see the questions Hi Leon, I did. But if I hadn't gotten the copies of the Message Board replies, I wouldn't have known about the query. You also got the original as a list message? Cheers, Peggy
