Pasthomes.com had the GV maps, btw. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com

    3. Hi Kate, Thanks so much again for your lookups. The Saunders/Lonergan family in Callan was actually quite large. They resided in Callan and Screhin and environs in Callan Parish and in the abutting townland of Roscon in Windgap Parish. My Saunders immigrated in 1853 along with some of the Lonergans. Other Lonergan family members came much later in 1908-1910. I have found many baptismal records in the FHL microfilms, but as you know this can be a tedious task. Wish I had access to the sources you seem to have. Again, thanks so much for your continued help to me and the list. Fond regards, Mike On 1/19/07, Kate Hanley <khanley@keyisp.com> wrote: > > How big was your family? > Couldn't find them all, but some of these might work. > > > Denis Landrigan m. 1. [KILKENNY] RTE program on Coalmining in Clogh
    2. A few weeks ago I posted an item having to do with an RTE film crew visiting Clogg, preparing a film about coalmining in the Deer Park, etc. A follow-up item appeared in the Laois=Nationalist Jan 18, see below: MINING ON TV: An RTE film crew came to Clogh village recently and took a number of shots in Coffey’s pub, which is renowned for its array of nteresting photographs on display on walls. The group are making a programme on the coalmining past and visited Deerpark Colliery and Larry Power’s in Glenmullen. Robert Vance, who will be the presenter of the programme which is expected to be shown in February, was the presenter of The Secret History of Ireland last year on RTE. Would anyone know the date and time? Jack Langton

    3. Don't have any idea if there is a connection but thought I would give you my info in case it might help you. I have Jane Bulger the wife of Nicholas Lalor. Their first child, Denis, was baptized at St. Patrick's in Kilkenny City in 1846. Their residence is shown as Poulgour. There is in Poulgour (on Griffiths) a James Bolger who we think could be her father. There are several Bolger and Bulger graves at St. Patrick's Cemetery. Hope this helps you in some way.... Donna

    3. Hi Kate. That is all I have to go on. Mary had a child Anne, with John St Leger/Salinger born Callan in 1863 I don't know if John and Mary ever married? I do know Mary married in 1877 in Tipperary and her witness was Betsy, maybe she was a sibling? That is all I have managed to track on Mary and John. Thanks anyway.
