Now, on LDS a Adam Murray !! marries a Ellen Commerford 1826 and I think it was a mistake and a Murphy marrying. This Adam could be your close line b 1804 to James,...maybe. Can you tie anything to gether. Our Anna came to Australia , we think in the 1840's or 50's. She was here by 1856 . Regards Paul Judd Sydney

Mixed in with my notes were a Guine family. I cannot be positive of the spelling, but noticed them because they lived near Ballywater, my Thomas Wallace & Margaret Smyth family property outside Callan. For what it's worth, here's what I have: William Guinan m. Mary Mahar. Son Patrick bapt Bapt. at Callan April 1853. Sponsor was Mary Power. Patrick Guinan and Catherine English, dau. Johanna bapt Sept 1870 in Callan Now these 2 were a bit unclear to me so I was guessing on the surname, although they looked like Guine... John Guine(?) and Catherine Butler - They lived in Ballywater, which is where my Laurence Smyth resided. John bapt June 1832 sponsors Thomas Noonan and Margaret Butler; and Johanna bapt May 1829 witnesses were Margaret Walsh and William Buckley.. Let me know if you need anything else. Kate

    3. From the Rootsweb Help Desk... 2004-01-28 AOL is still blocking RootsWeb mail. We have contacted AOL and are working with them to resolve the problem. In the meantime, AOL users can read list mail through the archives at: http://archiver.rootsweb.com/ My comments: AOL users might want to call AOL and issue a complaint since this has been going on since Monday without any resolution of the problem. While the AOL users are not getting their mail, most haven't been dropped due to the way AOL is bouncing the mail and can post to the list. However, as time goes on all will eventually be dropped if AOL doesn't stop bouncing Rootsweb mail. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA, listowner http://www.connorsgenealogy.com Professional Genealogy Research All outgoing mail virus free, scanned by Norton 2002

I’m looking for any information on: Samuel Humble Lawson (b1791 Co Kilkenny) who was in the 95th Rifles and then served in the RIC until 1859 in Co Sligo. He died 4/3/1874 at Albert Street Co Sligo. His wife a native of Co. Cork but I have no idea of her name. His son Charles Humble Lawson (presumably his eldest son as he has the family middlename) was born in Cork. He married Annabella Sophia Dillon. He was also in the RIC until 1862 and died 16/12/1868 in Finisklin, Co Sligo. Edward Weekes Lawson – another of his sons - was my g.g.grandfather and was born in Antrim in 1833. He married Isabella Alexandrina Stewart (b 1835) on 05/05/1857 in Antrim and was Superintendent of County Police in Derbyshire in 1858. I don't know of any other family, siblings etc from Edward's level or before, so if anyone can add anything to any of the above I would be most grateful as I’ve reached a brickwall. Many thanks in advance . . . .
