I suspect that many of these people came during the 170s during the Clearing of the Highlands while the English were searching for Bonnie Prince Charlie. Are you sure they came from Kildare? The chances of you finding the parish of your ancestors is quite high assuming there are records and assuming they came from Co. Kildare.
