    2. Kevin- Any O'connor or Connor mentioned. They lived in Blakestown- an outfarm of the Carton Estate not far from Leixlip/ Property is now part of Intel corp. But the old family home "Blakestown House " has been refurbished and is still there on the property! 3. The O'Connors: There are Arthur, Lawrence, and Patrick. Arthur and Lord Edward Fitzpatrick undertook a mission to France in May, 1796, stayed together in Belfast in November 1796, and upon returning were both active as leaders of the Rebellion of 1798. Lawrence O'Connor was a Defender leader executed in 1795 in Naas. (The Defenders pre-dated the United Irishmen) He was "one of the few men of education to be a Defender". He was arrested in Kilcock, but was from around Summerhill. There are about 7 pages of his exploits. Patrick O'Connor was a lawyer from Straffan There is no mention of Blakestown, but quite a lot about Leixslip (10 pages). You might want to get a copy for yourself. I got mine through Amazon.com.
