    2. Yes, at a Dublin court martial on the 21st June 1799, Henry Kilmurry was the last one charged with the murder of the woman. After hearing many witnesses he was sentenced to be hanged "in the place where the murder was committed" and after confirmation of the verdict, he was executed by the pond. (Where the Grattan sisters' bodies were found.) The papers concerning the case are in the National Archives, Dublin. Terry
