Terry Many thanks for the information - can you tell me how does someone on the other side of the pond access these records ? Will they do a "search" if I snail mail them and provide copies ? This is my first entry into searching overseas so unsure of how / where to start. Thanks again Kaz ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, August 10, 2004 8:22 AM Subject: Re: [Irl-Kildare] Rebellion in Kildare- for Kevin Yes, at a Dublin court martial on the 21st June 1799, Henry Kilmurry was the last one charged with the murder of the woman. After hearing many witnesses he was sentenced to be hanged "in the place where the murder was committed" and after confirmation of the verdict, he was executed by the pond. (Where the Grattan sisters' bodies were found.) The papers concerning the case are in the National Archives, Dublin.
