Kevin- This is a long shot, but I remember my Mother talking about her friend named "Dorothy Kerwin" who lived int the New York area ( perhaps Brooklyn) in the early 1940s. Dot had a son named Jimmy and I believe another son named Kevin. My mother was Kathleen O'Connor.
