Any Walshes in the Rebellion.... I think I'm related to Daniel Walsh, part of the Rebel faction in Narraghmore. Joe Walsh
A lot of Walshes mentioned: Captain Walsh-a maltster turned Cork mail coach robber, based in the Wicklow mountains-1798 James Walsh-a rebel leader from Athy John Ravell Walsh- a neighbor of Theobald Wolfe in Naas Patrick Walsh-"a respectable landowner from the Narraghmore area brought instructions for insurrection to the United Irishmen of the region on May 22, 1798" The battle description is pretty interesting and runs several pages. Reverend John Walsh-"vicar at Kilcock, the epicentre of Defenderism in Kildare [1795-1797 period], emerges from the Rebellion Papers as the most spirited resister of Defenderism in the north of the county" There are 6 pages mentioning him. I got my copy at Amazon.com. It was published in 1998-"Rebellion In Kildare 1790-1803. It lloks like you may have several here. Good luck!
