The booklet I have is several years old. I visited some cemeteries while I was there and was appalled by the condition of some of them. Straffan is by far the worst of what I saw. The weeds in the old cemetery are waist high and even if you can find a headstone, you cannot read most. I would love to have been there long enough to organize a cleanup. According to my cousin, they have been talking about just such a thing there but keep passing the buck to the County Council (seems they own the cemetery). A lot of good that does for our ancestors! You might try contacting the church in Kilcock. Maybe someone has already done so. I have to give credit to whoever maintains LadyCastle cemetery. That old cemetery is beautifully maintained. It might have something to do with a burial there within the last couple of weeks. I was there just last week and we could see the freshly dug grave. That was a pleasure to visit. good luck, Marge
