Here's the link: http://kildare.ie/library/KildareHeritage/ Otherwise, you'd need to identify more specifically which of the 15 Newtowns in Kildare is the location where Patrick was born to identify what church records are available for that location. Many have been microfilmed and are available at the National Library of Ireland in Dublin. There are no census records for the 1800s and civil registration didn't start in Ireland until 1864 (Protestant marriages in 1845) so church registers for the specific location of birth are the primary source for family information. Other than the Kildare Heritage Company, there is no other centralised source to lookup information in church registers. Regards. EilĂs O'Hara
