Aust) he was married at the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Dublin. to Ann Josephine Taylor in 28th June 1857. He was a policeman in Dublin for 3 years prior to migrating. He migrated to Australia during the next year - 1858. His first son was born in Vic. 20th Sept 1858 at the Lying in Hospital Melbourne. registered as William but later called John James as his next son was named William. They eventually had 10 children.
