    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Grace, Powell, Casey Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/VWC.2ACI/980.21.1.1 Message Board Post: Kevin: you're right, I AM lucky. Thanks much for getting and retaining those Grace marriage records!! We were at St. Michael's RC Church in Athy a few years ago and got the Grace baptisms, but forgot (it was our first foray in looking for ancestors) to ask for marriages. Thanks to you we now know their marriage dates!! Our direct-line Graces were Michael Grace/Catherine Powell (Michael was born in Goulyduff (Churchtown Parish), and their son Peter who married Mary Casey. Peter/Mary lived in Nicholastown (Tankardstown, Kildare) before Peter and three oldest boys entered the US (via the SS CIty of Baltimore)at Castle Garden in March 1860. [We haven't found when Mary and the others came over, but we know it was before 1870--they all settled in New Brtiain CT.] In Griffin's 1852 valuation in Tankardstown, I don't see your Kirwan's listed.
