No Kinsella's, but there is a Dominic William O'Reilly of Kildangan. He was a prominent landowner, involved in the Catholic Committee in the 1780's. He was the only signatory of a declaration of unconditional loyalty to the Crown in 1791. He later turned "liberal" and voted against proclaiming martial law in Carbery barony in May, 1796, resigned from the kildare Militia upon the resignation of the Duke of Leinster's departure in May, 1797, and in 1798 he persuaded the British Captain Winter upon passing through Kildare with his troops, not to burn the baggage of General Wilford's troops stored in the guardhouse. This baggage was then seized the next day by the United Irishmen, giving them a supply of better weaponry. I have also posted in the Kinsella forum the names of all I have from St. Michael's Church records.
