Oops-forgot the Hylands. Stephen Hyland :he testified at the summer 1798 assizes (court hearings) in Athy against William Kennedy for an attack on a chart school. "The evidence of Steven Hyland was extracted by Lt. Hempenstall of the Wicklow Militia through violence." Thomas Hyland of Kilbride was named on a list of leaders of the Kildare rebels provided to Dublin Castle on 7/4/1798. -----Original Message----- From: "John W. Keating who went missing in the middle of the night, estimating around the time of 1798. Both families immigrated from Ballymore Eustace around the mid 1800's. Cheers!
