Good Morning List, I am so glad that you all are talking about the Churches in Co Kildare. I see someone is researching Kelly's. Thanks for the address for St. Michaels as I need information on Simon A. Kelly married Mary Cushing and had several sons. Simon was alleged to have been a "horse trainer". He was in the USA before the children as he is listed to be living in Bayonne, NJ in March of 1906 when he picked up his sons, James, Thomas, John, Joseph & Patrick when they arrived at Ellis Island on the ship the Umbria. Two of the sons were listed as Farrier's/Blacksmiths. Apparently Mary Cushing Kelly had died prior to the family migration. I have Patrick's petition for citizenship, his citizenship certificate, and several of his passports confirming his parentage. I also have Patrick's "CV"/employment history with Standard Oil Company.
