Parish (Athy) records. My question is how do I get birth or baptism records for some of the children from these marriages? I have a list, with baptism dates of several Grace's (from 1700's thru mid 1800's) that I got while visiting the church office in 2001, but it has little detail (gives parent's names and townland of residence). Can the church provide a copy of the actual baptismal certificate, or do I have to get that thru the local "Heritage History Center", or whatever it is called? Also, do you know if R.C. baptisms in that era were done within afew weeks of birth, or a year or so later?? Ed Daniel
